The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a Deemed University fully funded by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Government of India.

In the latest job notification, TISS announces job vacancies for teaching staff posts to fill positions in TISS, Tuljapur, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Telangana, Guwahati, Assam, in reference to ADVT. NO.TISS/ TEACHING//MAY/2019.

Under TISS Professor/Associate Professor Recruitment 2019, candidates completed PG in relevant subjects can apply.

Shortlisted applicants will be called for Interview.

The selected candidate will be recruited, with salary pay provided as per guidelines.

Education Qualification:

Should complete Post-graduate in Arts, Humanities, Education, Law, Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Economics, Geography, Sociology), Sciences, Languages, and Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Environmental Science, Gender Studies, Development Studies, etc.).

Selection Process:

On the basis of Interview.

Application Fee:

General, OBC, and EWS candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 2000 through online mode.

SC/ST/PWD (Divyang) candidates to pay fee of Rs 500.
